A ceramic bowl manufactured by Ridgways, featuring a metallic bronze-toned luster finish on the exterior. The body is decorated with black transfer-printed architectural scenes, including a silhouette of a Gothic cathedral with twin towers. The interior of the bowl is finished in a yellowish-green glaze. The base bears the Ridgways maker mark, depicting a winged quiver and arrows with the text RIDGWAYS ENGLAND, accompanied by an impressed number 37.
