Another Great Auction 26th February
A pair of glazed ceramic money boxes designed in the form of a steam locomotive, identified as the Flying Scotsman with cab number 4806. Produced by Greenbrier International, the set is configured as two bookends. Each section features a portion of the green and black locomotive mounted to a yellow-glazed base modeled as a book. The spines of the bases are embossed with the words TRAIN and RAILWAYS in capitalized block lettering. Each book base contains a rectangular coin slot on the upper edge. The items are finished with a high-gloss glaze and include white detailing on the boiler and cab.
