This battery-operated toy, produced by Rosko circa 1962, depicts the television personality Charley Weaver. The figure is constructed with a painted vinyl head, wire-rimmed glasses, and a felt hat, dressed in fabric clothing consisting of a tan shirt, red suspenders, a patterned tie, and brown corduroy trousers. The figure stands behind a lithographed tin bar with a faux wood-grain finish and graphics that include the text CHARLEY WEAVER BARTENDER and ELSIE KRACK WAS HERE. The character is depicted holding a metal cocktail shaker and a small glass. The underside of the red-rimmed metal base features a yellow lithographed battery compartment plate with operating instructions and a ROSKO TESTED manufacturer sticker.
