Another Great Auction 26th February
A pair of contemporary decorative figurines from the Souls of the Spirit collection by artist Lee Bogle, produced for The Bradford Exchange circa 2002. Each piece is constructed from a translucent cast resin in the form of a large feather or wing, featuring romanticised portraiture of Indigenous American couples. The sculptures are mounted on circular wooden bases with titles inscribed in gold-toned script, including Soul Mates and Warm Interlude. Decorative elements include leather thongs, small feathers, and circular metal medallions inset with blue cabochons. Markings on the underside of the bases identify the pieces as part of a limited edition from The Hadley Collection, specifically Plate No. A7584, with a production restricted to a maximum of 295 casting days.
