Another Great Auction 26th February
A pair of decorative sculptures from the Souls of the Spirit collection by artist Lee Bogle for The Bradford Exchange, dated 2002. Each piece features a translucent, frosted acrylic plate moulded into the shape of a large feather, displaying a central portrait of a Native American couple in a romantic embrace. The plates are mounted on dark-finished circular wooden bases. Decorative embellishments on each include a silver-tone concho with a central faux-turquoise cabochon, secured with leather cord and accented by natural feathers. The items are titled on the side of the bases as Tender Moment and Heart’s Desire. Information on the underside of Tender Moment identifies it as Plate No. A0232, the sixth issue in the series, produced by The Hadley Collection with a limited casting period of 295 days.
