This vintage painting depicts a large bird of prey in flight over a rugged, mountainous landscape featuring snow-dusted peaks and brown foothills. The work is executed in a realistic style with a warm, earth-toned palette. The composition is presented on a textured leather or composite substrate, framed by an integral border consisting of a continuous line of decorative metal upholstery studs. The piece is signed in the lower right corner G. Gandill.
