Another Great Auction 26th February
An assortment of vintage advertising items and tobacciana comprising lithographed metal tins, cigars, and printed ephemera. The collection includes a Squirrel Brand Confections lithographed metal tin, circa 1930s, featuring a squirrel illustration on the lid and containing a Blackpool Tower Circus Wrestling promotional insert. A smaller lithographed metal tin for Coltsfoot Bronchials by Wigglesworth Ltd. of Dublin is also present. The tobacciana consists of several Manikin Cigars by J.R. Freeman and Son Ltd., some in original orange and black cardboard sleeves, and a single torpedo-shaped cigar with a red and gold Flor Fina band. Ephemera includes a vintage paper bag from Loxley Brothers Ltd. of Sheffield, advertising Swan Pens.
