This smoking set features a patinated cast-metal figure of a racing greyhound in a streamlined Art Deco style. The components are mounted on a rectangular chamfered wooden plaque and include a central circular metal-lined ashtray and a barrel-form humidor or cigarette canister crafted from wood with metal banding and a matching lid. A small metal manufacturer’s or retailer’s plate on the side edge is inscribed A. MORTAGI & Co. ISMAILIA.
