A hand-painted cold-cast porcelain figurine titled Sacajawea, produced as part of The Hamilton Collection Noble American Indian Women Sculpture Collection. The piece is inspired by the original artwork of Western artist David Wright and depicts Sacajawea kneeling upon a red and black striped blanket while tending to an infant in a decorated cradleboard. The figure is portrayed in traditional attire featuring fringed garments and detailed jewellery including necklaces and bracelets. The underside of the base bears a printed label with the collection title, the individual production number 1583 C, a copyright date of 1993, and is marked Made in Thailand. This item is accompanied by a corresponding Certificate of Authenticity signed by the chairman of The Hamilton Collection.
