A vintage ceramic planter or vase designed in the form of a stylized tulip or lotus flower. The vessel features a scalloped, jagged rim and a body that rests upon a lobed base modelled as leaves. The exterior is finished in a glossy two-tone glaze, transitioning from a deep burgundy-red at the base to a speckled cream-yellow at the rim. The interior is glazed in a solid cream colour and shows minor speckling. The underside of the base features an unglazed, scalloped foot ring and retains a partial gold foil label. No maker’s marks are present.
