Another Great Auction 12th March 2026
A pair of World War I-era trench art vases fashioned from brass artillery shell casings. The cylindrical bodies feature hand-worked repoussé and chased decoration depicting oak leaves and acorns set against a stippled and hammered ground. The upper rims are flared and scalloped, while the lower sections are finished with fine-lined floral engravings. The bases retain the original circular form of the shell casings.
