Another Great Auction 12th March 2026
A pair of framed aviation art prints from the Great Moments in Aviation History series by the artist P. Davis. The first print, titled Scrambler, illustrates a Supermarine Spitfire and is hand-signed in ink by Air Vice-Marshal Johnnie Johnson and Alex Henshaw, Chief Test Pilot at Castle Bromwich. The second print, titled No deliveries today, depicts Pilot Officer Henry Danforth of the 416 Squadron R.C.A.F. attacking a supply column and bears the hand-signature of Johnnie Johnson. Both prints include detailed printed inscriptions regarding the historical events and individuals depicted, alongside a mention of The Cathy Jenkins memorial fund. The pieces are housed in matching burr-effect wooden frames with gilt-tone inner borders under glass.
