A collection of 9 cloth-bound books consisting of two distinct series. The first group includes five antique volumes of King Edward VII by Sanderson, published by The Gresham Publishing Company in the early 20th century. These volumes are bound in dark green cloth with ornate gilt and red-stamped decorative elements, including the royal coat of arms and the motto Honi soit qui mal y pense. The lot includes volumes 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6. The second group comprises four modern hardcover reprints from The Boy Mechanic series, published by Algrove Publishing for Lee Valley. This set includes Books 1, 2, 3, and 4, bound in teal cloth with black-stamped illustrative covers. These reprints are based on the original 1913-1924 publications and feature the subtitle 800 Things for a Boy to Do.
