A pair of Japanese cast bronze cane handles by Miyazaki, naturalistically modelled as bamboo stalks. The design incorporates climbing frogs and small leafy shoots. Each piece is finished with a dark brown patina. The undersides feature recessed square cartouches containing Japanese characters: one reading Miyazaki and the other reading Made by Miyazaki. These pieces demonstrate the carved aesthetic typical of late 19th or early 20th-century Japanese metalwork.
