A collection of 6 items comprising a large Victorian family Bible and five smaller religious volumes. The family Bible is bound in heavily embossed black leather with ornate scrollwork and a central decorative medallion, containing a lithographed colour frontispiece titled The Holy Bible Containing The Old and New Testaments. The five smaller volumes include pocket-sized Bibles and hymnals bound in black leather, some with gold-stamped titles and gilded page edges. One volume contains a prize presentation label from All Saints, Darfield Church Sunday Schools, awarded to Eric Batley in April 1927.
