A collection of mid-20th-century British military and civil service uniform components. The assortment includes several metal buttons featuring the embossed CD monogram surmounted by a King’s Crown for the Civil Defence Corps, alongside buttons depicting a figure of Britannia with a trident, a motif associated with the Merchant Navy. One button reverse is stamped with the maker’s mark FIRMIN LONDON. Also included is a cast brass RFA shoulder title for the Royal Field Artillery, featuring a lugged back for attachment. The buttons are of various sizes and feature shank or loop fasteners.
