A collection of commemorative coin and medallion sets issued by the National Bank of Yugoslavia (Narodna Banka Jugoslavije), dating to circa 1990. The collection primarily features issues commemorating the 29th Chess Olympiad held in Novi Sad in 1990, depicting a stylized chess piece and board, alongside medallions marking a fiftieth anniversary. Each set is presented in a dark blue vinyl bifold folder featuring silver-tone text and the state emblem of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. The items are accompanied by original paper certificates from the Institute for Manufacturing Banknotes and Coins (Zavod za izradu novcanica i kovanog novca), which provide technical specifications. The Olympiad coins carry a nominal value of 5 dinara and are struck in an alloy of 61 percent copper, 19 percent nickel, and 20 percent zinc.
