A collection of British military and civil service insignia and lapel pins, primarily dating from the mid-20th century. The grouping includes a George VI King’s Crown For Loyal Service lapel badge in silver-toned metal featuring the GR monogram. Also present are multiple For Home and Country enamel pins, a Civil Defence Corps pin featuring a crown and lion, and two W.V.S. Civil Defence badges. Military insignia comprise a Royal Army Medical Corps badge and a Royal Army Service Corps star-shaped badge bearing the motto Honi soit qui mal y pense. The collection further contains a 7 Years Service enameled bar and other commemorative service-related items. Construction materials include gilt brass, silver-toned base metals, and various coloured enamels.
