Two British service-related lapel badges. The first is a Second World War first issue Auxiliary Fire Service (AFS) badge of circular form, struck in sterling silver with red enamel lettering and a Tudor crown. The reverse is stamped STERLING SILVER and carries the serial number 135603, featuring a crescent-shaped buttonhole fitting. The second is a contemporary HM Armed Forces Veteran lapel pin, constructed from gold-toned metal with white and blue enamel detailing. It depicts the combined services emblem of an anchor, crossed swords, and an eagle, surmounted by a crown. This pin is presented in a blue velvet-lined presentation box.
