A collection of commemorative military challenge coins, each presented in a protective clear acrylic capsule. The group includes a gold-toned medallion honouring the D-Day landings at Omaha Beach on 6 June 1944, featuring a saluting soldier and the American flag on the obverse, with the Normandy American Cemetery (Cimetière Américain) depicted on the reverse. Also included is a Purple Heart commemorative coin featuring the profile of George Washington and the dates 1782-1932, with a reverse side designed for personalised engraving of recipient and service details. The collection further contains an Operation Desert Storm Veteran coin (1990-1991) displaying a map of Kuwait and an American flag, alongside a bronze-toned Hooray for Heroes 2016 coin depicting military helicopters and service ribbons. The medallions are struck in base metal with polished gold and bronze-toned finishes and detailed enamel work.
