A rectangular cigarette case featuring an engraved architectural scene to the exterior. The central design depicts a gated building with minarets and towers, set within a circular frame and surrounded by detailed foliate and geometric borders. The engraving is further embellished with sparse red pigment accents. The hinged case opens to reveal a dual-compartment interior, with each side fitted with a woven fabric retaining strap. The exterior shows a combination of engraved and niello techniques typical of Russian silverwork.
