A vintage promotional token set produced by Shell titled Historic Cars. The collection consists of an assortment of silver-toned embossed tokens mounted onto a green cardboard display card. The centre of the card features a colour illustration of a vintage motor vehicle with the registration YW 3775. The tokens are arranged around the central image, each depicting a significant automobile model with its corresponding production year. Represented models include the 1886 Benz 3-Wheeler, 1909 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost, 1911 Ford Model-T, 1954 Mercedes Benz 300SL, and the 1970 Lamborghini Miura. One specific token displays the Shell pecten logo alongside text describing an early sports car. The card includes printed identification for each vehicle.
