A group of official British decimal coin sets produced by the Royal Mint. The lot includes The Great British 1983 Coin Collection, presented in a blue card folder, featuring uncirculated coins ranging from the half-penny to the one pound coin. Also included is a set titled Britain’s First Decimal Coins, housed in a blue plastic wallet with an accompanying descriptive booklet. This set contains the initial denominations introduced during the decimalisation period, including the half-penny, one penny, two pence, five pence, and ten pence coins. The coins are struck in various alloys including cupro-nickel, bronze, and nickel-brass. The 1983 set includes the twenty pence and the round one pound coin.
