A late Victorian bar brooch of elongated, multi-lobed form, crafted in 9 carat tri-colour gold. The central recessed panel features applied floral and foliate motifs in yellow, rose, and green gold tones, bordered by granulated bead accents. The reverse is fitted with a traditional pin and C-clasp. The piece bears a full set of British hallmarks for Birmingham, 1901, including the maker mark A.J.C, the crown and 375 fineness marks for 9 carat gold, and the date letter b.
