A pair of Chinese cloisonné enamel vases of baluster form. The exterior is decorated with floral motifs, including chrysanthemums and magnolia blossoms, in shades of pink, yellow, and green. The enamel is set against a white ground with a repetitive cloud or fish scale wirework pattern. The neck and foot are accented with colourful geometric and foliate borders. The vases feature gilded metal rims and bases. One vase has a small adhesive inventory label marked 1756. No other maker’s marks or inscriptions are visible.
