A U.S. Army 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne) beret flash with an attached metal distinctive unit insignia. The embroidered fabric flash is divided into four quadrants of red, yellow, black, and white. Affixed to the centre is a metal unit insignia featuring the U.S. Army Special Forces motto DE OPPRESSO LIBER (To Free the Oppressed) in a semi-circle around crossed arrows and a vertical dagger. The insignia is constructed from a silver-toned metal with black enamel-like detailing.
