Another Great Auction 12th March 2026
A collection of early 20th century glass plate negatives housed in an original cardboard storage box. One plate features a photographic study of a nude figure in an interior setting, with an overlaid inscription identifying W. E. BENNETT, Secretary, at 58, Kingsway, London, W.C.2. A second plate contains a line-art illustration of a satirical or allegorical scene, which corresponds to the composition of David and Bathsheba after Lucas Cranach the Elder.
