This Art Nouveau style ewer is crafted from amber-coloured glass and stands at 8.5 inches in height. The vessel features a ribbed, ruffled rim and two applied handles. The body is decorated with hand-painted enamel depicting roosters amongst scrolling floral foliage in light blue, lavender, and white, further embellished with gold accents. The piece includes applied glass details, such as a textured ridge on the sides and a circular prunt with a moulded floral design. A hand-painted signature, which reads E. Gallé, is visible in gold enamel on the side. The craftsmanship and decorative motifs are characteristic of late 19th or early 20th-century Bohemian glass, resembling the work of Moser.
