Another Great Auction 12th March 2026
An Ericsson magneto wall-mounted telephone featuring a dark wood cabinet with an integrated writing slope and a side-mounted hand crank. The front of the unit is fitted with two polished metal bells and a black-finished identification plaque with embossed text. The plaque identifies the instrument as an Ericsson Magneto Wall Telephone, Type N2519, Code N2519A2. It features certifications from the Ministry of Fuel and Power (Cert. T/TEL/86) and the Factory Department (Cert. No. 88), specified for surface use only and dated 18 March 1950. A black handset is suspended from a metal switch hook on the side and remains attached by a cloth-covered cord.
