A late 19th-century tabletop stationery bureau constructed from oak. The piece features a tambour roll-top front which retracts to reveal a tiered interior containing multiple compartments and slots for document storage. The upper section is fitted with three recessed circular wells for inkwells and a central decorative scalloped wooden frame. The construction incorporates brass hinges to the internal fittings.
