Another Great Auction 12th March 2026
A collection of empty jewellery boxes in various sizes and finishes, including red and maroon presentation cases and a white box for Georgian Goldsmiths Ltd. of Sheffield. The lot also features 20th-century scientific and measuring instruments, notably two white whirling hygrometers by Casella London Ltd. with a brown carrying case, a Faber-Castell slide rule in a plastic sleeve, and a folding wooden ruler. Stationery and personal items include a bottle of Parker Super Quink ink in its original carton, a pair of patterned Liberty of London armbands in a purple box, a vintage shaving brush, a Baby’s Bottom tobacco tin, and a selection of metal nibs. The group is completed by a long-handled metal tool and miscellaneous ephemera.
