Another Great Auction 12th March 2026
A trio of late Victorian ceramic tablewares in the Imari pattern, possibly by Royal Crown Derby or Davenport. The group comprises a teapot with a matching lid, a tall hot water jug with a hinged metal lid, and a coordinating deep saucer or stand. Each piece is decorated on an off-white ground featuring hand-painted blue floral sprays and scrolling gold-gilt foliage. A geometric border composed of dark red and gold diamonds encircles the body of each item. The handles and rims are accented with deep cobalt blue and additional gilt flourishes. The hot water jug is fitted with a circular metal lid with a thumbpiece. No maker’s marks are visible to the underside of the pieces.
