A collection of two antique metalware items associated with historic hearth use. The first item is a tea kettle constructed from copper, featuring a curved spout and a fitted lid topped with a decorative finial. It is equipped with a fixed overhead handle with a cylindrical grip. The second item is a round vessel, identified as a jam or preserve pan, featuring a polished brass interior and a heavily blackened exterior. It is fitted with a slender iron swinging bail handle secured to the body with rivets. Both pieces show evidence of traditional construction and lack visible manufacturer marks or inscriptions.
