An antique 19th-century mahogany tea caddy of rectangular casket form, featuring a hinged lid and a diamond-shaped bone escutcheon. The interior is divided into three compartments: two flanking wells containing removable metal canisters with hinged lids, and a central circular well housing a cut-glass mixing bowl. The bowl is decorated with star-burst and fan-cut motifs. The interior of the lid is lined with red fabric.
