A mid-20th-century British Railways recruitment poster, dated 1956. The poster is designed with a solid red ground and black typography. The text provides information regarding employment opportunities, pay, and benefits available through a Station Master. The British Railways totem logo is centred at the bottom within a white capsule frame. Printed inscriptions along the bottom margin identify the publisher as the British Transport Commission 56/14 and the printer as Ernest J. Day & Co Ltd. London. W.1. The piece is housed in a simple black frame under glass. The materials are confirmed as 25 X 11”.
