A collection of Talking Classics audiobook cassette tape sets published by the Orbis De Agostini Group, circa 1994. The group comprises various literary works including Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë, Les Misérables by Victor Hugo, Great Expectations by Charles Dickens, and War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy. Each title is housed in a black card slipcase containing cassette tapes within a moulded white plastic insert. The recordings feature professional narrations, including Hannah Gordon for Wuthering Heights, and utilise Dolby B noise reduction. Other visible titles in the collection include Villette, Adam Bede, The Bostonians, Moby Dick, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Silas Marner, Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, Around the World in Eighty Days, Tom Jones, Billy Budd, Rob Roy, A Tale of Two Cities, Nicholas Nickleby, Kipps, The Last of the Mohicans, Rebecca, Tess of the d’Urbervilles, and A Christmas Carol. Cassette labels are printed with Talking Classics, Orbis Publishing Ltd., and Made in Italy.
