A pair of vintage painted chalkware figurines depicting a young boy and girl in mid-century attire. Both figures are standing 12 inches tall and are modelled in a similar pose with hands on their hips. The boy figure is dressed in a light-coloured jacket and green shorts, while the girl figure wears an orange top and a green skirt. Each figure is set upon an integrated, rectangular base with a black-painted foundation. The items are constructed from cast chalkware with polychrome painted details. No maker’s marks or signatures are visible on either piece.
