A pair of Coalport fine bone china commemorative plates produced to celebrate cricketer Geoffrey Boycott scoring one hundred centuries for Yorkshire County Cricket Club between 1963 and 1985. The first plate features a central portrait of Boycott wearing a cricket cap, surrounded by a radiating list of centuries scored, finished with a border of red cricket ball motifs and yellow and blue bands. The second plate displays a central portrait of Boycott within a laurel wreath, with centuries detailed in a radiating blue and white design and a border of linked cricket balls with a gilded rim. This second plate is housed in its original blue Coalport presentation box and includes a certificate of authenticity identifying it as number 846 from a limited edition of 1,500. The certificate is signed by the Managing Director and provides details of the centuries scored between 1963 and 1985.
