A mid-20th-century polychrome chalkware figurine depicting a young girl standing beside a large dog, resembling an Alsatian or German Shepherd. The girl is modelled wearing a teal-coloured dress with a red and green plaid shawl, while the dog is finished in variegated shades of tan, brown, and black. Both figures are set upon an integral, textured rocky-style base. A small inventory sticker bearing the number 3831 is affixed to the front of the base. The composition measures 15 x 17 inches.
