An assortment of 19th and 20th-century British and world currency, medals, and metal artifacts. The collection is housed in a black-lacquered wooden box with a cream fabric-lined interior and brass hardware, a vintage red-rimmed hexagonal tin, and a clear plastic bag. Identified items include a 1965 Winston Churchill commemorative crown, a Queen Alexandra commemorative medal, and a Victorian 1863 penny. The lot also contains various pre-decimal and decimal coinage. A portion of the collection consists of excavated or metal-detecting finds, including historical buttons, clothing buckles, and early-period coins showing heavy patination and environmental wear.
