Another Great Auction
A rectangular porcelain collector’s plaque titled Katzen mit Igel (Cats with Hedgehog), produced by The Bradford Exchange in 1997. The scene, after an original work by artist Siegmar Jugelt, depicts a group of kittens and a hedgehog gathered around a green bowl in a rustic setting. The central image is framed by a deep burgundy border with gold-coloured linear accents. The artist’s signature is reproduced in the upper right corner. The reverse features printed text in German detailing the title, artist, and production information. It is identified by Bradex number 22-B10-8.1 and is part of a worldwide edition limited to 39,000 pieces. This specific example is hand-marked with the edition number 9111.
