Another Great Auction
A pair of ceramic promotional items produced for the British tea merchant Ringtons. The first item is an elephant-shaped teapot from the Jungle Fun range, featuring a cream-glazed body decorated with transfer-printed motifs of jungle animals, butterflies, and floral elements. The trunk serves as the spout and the tail forms the handle. The underside bears the printed mark Designed exclusively for Ringtons by Wade Ceramics. The second item is a ceramic money box modelled as a vintage Ringtons delivery van in black and yellow livery. It features gilded lettering including Ringtons Tea, Tea Merchants, and Door to Door Delivery Service Since 1907, with a coin slot to the roof and a registration plate reading TEA 4 2.
