Another Great Auction
Two porcelain vases of baluster form. The first vase is decorated in an Oriental style with polychrome enamels depicting birds amongst peonies and flowering trees. The neck is embellished with floral scrolls, while the foot features a geometric patterned band. This piece is marked V.V. FERRARESI to the body and includes multiple columns of red characters in seal script, with a further single red character mark to the base. The second vase features a hand-painted continuous landscape scene showing a red-roofed building, water, and foliage, finished with a gilt rim.
