The original box features vibrant yellow and green graphics with a blue mouse illustration and includes the text A WIND-UP TOY and WONDER MOUSE, alongside operational instructions stating RUNS SLOW — SPRINGS QUICK — RUNS SLOW — RUNS AGAIN. Similar examples are attributed to Japanese manufacturers such as Yoneya or Noguchi, dating to the mid-20th century.
