A pair of cast composite each featuring a bust of the poet Alfred, Lord Tennyson. The figures are finished in an antiqued cream colour to simulate carved stone or ivory, set against dark, rounded backings and rectangular bases. Each base is incised with the name TENNYSON. The items are constructed from a cast material resembling chalkware.
