Another Great Auction
A collection of two pieces of Maltese art glass. The first item is a hand-blown vase of teardrop form with a short flared rim, constructed from cobalt blue glass with surface-applied trailing in earth and golden tones. This piece bears an original rectangular silver-toned foil label for Mdina Glass, Malta, featuring the company logo. The second item is a spherical glass paperweight featuring internal decoration. The design consists of a central pink and white swirl encased in green glass trails, positioned above a base layer of metallic gold-toned aventurine flecks. This item is unmarked and is in the style of glass produced in the Mediterranean region.
