A vintage Smiths Astral manual wind wristwatch. The circular 9ct gold case houses a champagne sunburst dial featuring applied gold-tone baton markers and Arabic numerals at the even hours. The dial is signed with the Astral name and crown logo, with Made in England printed at the six o’clock position. The watch features gold-tone baton hands. The case back bears a commemorative engraving that reads To MAC FROM ALL YOUR FRIENDS AT SIMMS 8-1-71. The watch is fitted to a gold-tone metal bracelet with decorative openwork links and a folding clasp.
