A vintage advertising pub mirror for Bentley’s Yorkshire Breweries Ltd, promoting Hunter’s Ale. The piece consists of a glass panel with a silvered mirror backing and printed surface graphics, housed in a dark-stained wooden frame. The central design features a rectangular pictorial inset depicting a traditional English fox hunting scene with huntsmen on horseback and a pack of hounds. The primary branding Hunter’s Ale is displayed in a large, curved, red and black shaded font. The surrounding text reads Est. 1828 Brewery Bentley’s Yorkshire in green and black lettering. The design is embellished with gold-toned scrollwork in the corners and a decorative inner border. Bentley’s Yorkshire Breweries was historically based in Woodlesford, West Yorkshire; this item is a mid-to-late 20th-century decorative piece produced in the style of traditional brewery signage.
