A vintage rectangular advertising pub mirror for Black & White Scotch Whisky by James Buchanan & Co. Limited. The mirror features the brand’s iconic mascots, a black Scottish Terrier and a white West Highland Terrier, positioned centrally. The reverse-printed graphics include the main heading Black & White alongside secondary text reading Buchanan’s Choice Old Scotch Whisky Special Blend. Additional inscriptions include Product of Scotland to the lower left, 70° Proof to the upper right, and the company signature James Buchanan & Co. Limited with Distillers Glasgow & London to the lower right. The item is housed in a dark-stained, moulded wooden frame. This style of mirror was a common fixture in mid-20th-century British public houses.
