Another Great Auction
A glazed ceramic figurine produced by Wade as part of the Camtrak’s Childhood Favourites series, depicting the character Sweep from the television programme The Sooty Show. The figure is modelled in a standing pose with hands on hips, wearing red dungarees with blue button accents. The piece is finished in a light grey glaze with contrasting black ears and a red nose. The base features gold-tone printed text identifying the piece as No. 6 Sweep and includes a 50 Golden Years logo. It is further marked with copyright information for Sooty International Limited dated 1998 and licensed by Chatsworth Enterprises Limited.
